2026 Coaches Application

Welcome to the Coaches Registration with Farmington Youth Football!

Farmington Youth Football Association values the volunteer coaches and recognizes the vital role they play in the physical and emotional development of our youth sports participants. We thank and commend our volunteers for the interest, sacrifice and commitment they make to our children and our program as well as the positive impact they have on the overall quality of life in our community!

COACH POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

2^nd/3^rd Grade    2-3 Coaches per team (4-6 teams)

4^th Grade          3 Coaches per team (4-5 teams)

5^th Grade          4 Coaches per team (4 teams)

6-8^th grade       5 Coaches per team + One Film Coordinator per team (2-3 teams)

Note as we get into 5^th grade, we start assigning coaches into specific positions: Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, Line Coach, and Personal Coordinator. Coaches will have specific duties during games.

During gradewide practices, coaches will be assigned position groups that fit their skill set.

Farmington Youth Football Association requires all coaches to complete:

1. Coaches Application

2. Trusted Coaches Background Check (due ASAP)

3. USA Football Training Certification program (due 8/2, prior to first practice) paid for by Farmington Youth Football Association.

Youth Coach Course (Certification)

FYFA will provide certification reports to each grade leader in the week leading up to the start of the season, along with a final report prior to our first practice on August 2^rd. Coaches that have not completed the training will be asked to leave practice until their certification is received.
