Volunteer Requirements

Farmington Football (Youth) relies on the dedication and support of volunteers to provide a high-quality and affordable football program for all of our young athletes. The time, talent, and energy contributed by each family help offset operating costs and support essential program activities. Volunteers play a critical role in running concessions, assisting coaches, supporting game-day operations, holding down markers, and helping ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.

Beyond day-to-day operations, volunteering helps strengthen our community, sets a positive example for our athletes, and reinforces the values of teamwork, commitment, and service. Volunteer participation is not simply a requirement—it is a vital part of sustaining our program and fostering a strong, supportive culture for our players and families.

To simplify the process, parents are no longer required to provide volunteer deposit checks during equipment try-on night. However, Farmington Football reserves the right to charge the payment method on file if required volunteer hours are not completed during the season.

Each family is required to complete 4 hours per player

• If you're unable to personally fulfill your volunteer hours, you may arrange for a substitute—someone who is at least 16 years old. Many families ask friends or relatives to help, while others hire a responsible local teen. Please ensure your volunteer checks in at the volunteer tent upon arrival and is familiar with their assigned duties. All volunteers are expected to be present for the entirety of their scheduled shift.

• Please sign in at the concession stand so we can properly track and verify completion of your volunteer hours.

• Families may opt out of their volunteer obligations during the registration process by paying a $150 fee online. Please note, this option is only available during online registration and cannot be selected later.
