Location and Date

  • Tuesday, July 9th at Boeckman Middle School (800 Denmark Ave, Farmington, MN 55024).  Equipment will be handed out in the equipment area by the Auxiliary Gym.
  • Note: For those of you who cannot attend there will be one additional date (TBD) to pickup equipment prior to the start of practice.  Please make all attempts to come on this date.

Equipment Deposit and Volunteer Checks Required

  • Each player will need to bring two separate checks made out to FYFA before equipment will be handed out
    • $300 equipment deposit check including players of coaches; AND
    • $175 volunteer check (2 dibs credits, approx. 4 hours per player) will be required at the time of equipment and jersey check-out
  • If either check is not turned in at the time of check-out, equipment will not be disbursed.  While we understand that some families do not use checks anymore, please visit/contact your bank regarding checks.  Many banks will print blank checks upon request for a small fee.
  • The Equipment Deposit check will not be cashed if all equipment and jerseys are turned in at end of season in reusable condition.
  • The Volunteer check will not be cashed if the volunteer requirement is met this season.

Equipment Handout Specifics

  • Players will be provided a helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey and pants with knee pads. Game jerseys will be provided after teams are formed in August.
  • Players will need to provide their own 5 piece girdle (to go underneath provided pants), protective athletic cup, cleats and mouth guard.
  • Coaches and Board Members will help fit the players for all equipment.
  • For efficiency and due to space limitations, parents will NOT be allowed to accompany the players through the line.
